Rogue River Arrowhead

• When I'm fishing I'm always looking for objects to collect.  I found this arrowhead along the Upper Rogue.  It fit perfectly into a piece of driftwood I had.  I thought of the Native Indians that might have fished here once, so I added a wrap around the top with buckskin.  The needles are softened and aged in the oven.  The basket is sewn with natural Irish linen thread and coated with a natural shellac to seal and preserve the finished basket.
