Alice Niemiec

Alice Niemiec grew up in the Detroit area. In the early 1970's she studied painting at Arts and Crafts - Center for Creative Studies, in Detroit.
After art school she co-founded The Artist Guild of Detroit, a guild and gallery, funded by General Motors, promoting young artists in the area. The guild won a beautification award for their work renovating an old brown stone building in the New Center Area. 
Alice paints in watercolor and oils, and has exhibited in juried shows around the country, including the Michigan Watercolor Society, Woodstock School of Art, and the California State Fair. 
She resides in Ashland, Oregon.
