Lost Creek Lake Basket

• I found this burl at Lost Creek Lake.  I had to make the basket around the burl as its shape was not perfectly round.  The needles are naturally softened and aged in the oven.  I use natural Irish linen to sew with.  I added a collar of the needle sheaths around the top binding of the basket and burl.  It was then given a coating of natural shellac to seal and preserve the finished basket.
